Hi, We’re Thrive Home Agency

Mission

Our mission at Thrive is to create an environment centered around personal choice, input, and freedom to live abundantly in the community and at home.

We provide a supportive atmosphere of love, acceptance, care, dignity, and respect. Thrive upholds individual rights to be free to make decisions and choices and to be an integral part of the community in which we all live.

From Our Family to Yours

Thrive Home Agency was created by a family around their own table, thinking and planning how they could bring peace to families like yours.

Today, as Thrive continues to offer priceless support and services, it still operates around a family table atmosphere, never forgetting the significance of a warm familial touch and the difference it can make in the lives of those they encounter.

Meet the Team

    Kerri Ford

    PROVIDER, OWNER

I believe a life helping others is a life best lived. I grew up working a farm in Southern Missouri. A passion for travel and meeting new people led me to pursue a Geography degree from Missouri State. I have two wildly active and creative children that make my heart sing every day. I love literature, art, music, and napping on Sunday afternoons, but more than anything, I love to dream big, work hard, and make it happen.

    Jackie Wright

    PROVIDER, OWNER

Jackie grew up on a farm in Southern Missouri and graduated from Missouri State University. After creating and establishing a successful childcare facility in Oregon County, she then transitioned to where she found her calling, working with independent living programs for foster youth, the developmentally disabled, and those with traumatic brain injuries. She is passionate about the importance of home, relationships, and community. Jackie has dedicated her life to helping others reach their life goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, in the outdoors, repurposing furniture, vintage finds, and interior design. “I believe in the power of a single act of kindness…It changes the world!”

    Lauren Sisco

    Ben Dennis

    PROGRAM MANAGER

I am a West Plains native, having moved to the Kansas City Metro area to pursue my education and begin my career before realizing that West Plains will forever be home. I’ve spent the last fifteen years in social services and law enforcement administration, passionate about thinking outside the box to create better lives for at-risk, marginalized individuals. In addition to this, I am an illustrator, avid concert-goer, competent cook, father of four, possessor of absurd amounts of trivial knowledge on equally trivial topics, and a life-long fan of the Florida State Seminoles. My mantra for life comes in the form of a Bob Dylan quote: “Be groovy or leave, man.”

    Gloria Macy

    SPECIAL PROJECTS AND COMPLIANCE

I have ten years of experience with the Missouri Department of Corrections. I began studying criminology at Missouri State University in West Plains, completing a B.S. in Criminal Justice through Drury University. I have spent several years as a wife, mother, and business owner before returning to social field employment. Currently, I work as an administrative assistant for Thrive Home Agency. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family.

    Katie Robinson

    RESIDENTIAL CARE COORDINATOR

Hello, my name is Kate Robinson, and I am the Residential Care Coordinator. I have been with Thive Home Agency since April of 2021. I have enjoyed this line of work since I was fresh out of high school when I started in 2006. I tried to adventure out in the world and work in other fields, but this field kept calling me back into it. After several years, I decided this was what I was meant to do. I stayed in it, grew, and found something I loved doing. This field is so rewarding. This company has been such an inspiration. God sent this company for me and my family. I have 6 children, all boys, and a wonderful husband who supports me in anything! I am so grateful and blessed to be a part of this company, and I truly appreciate Thrive for everything they do. I'm blessed for the growth, work family, and experience the growth in everyone, including our clients!

    Mia Stout

    OFFICE MANAGER

My name is Mia Stout. As a child, I lived in several different cities. Then from the age of nine to twenty-one, I lived in West Plains. As a teenager, I believed I would eventually move to Springfield, MO. Then I met a man who changed my mind, and I moved to Drury. I have been married for 22 years and have two wonderful children. I enjoy being creative and going to yard sales. I also enjoy going to church, singing, and spending time with friends.

When I was 35, I began college at MSU West Plains. I was a substitute teacher for a couple years until I became a full-time teacher. After teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students for 3 yrs., I then taught Special Ed for grades K-6. During my time as a teacher, I realized how much work I needed to bring home each night, and I was missing out on important family time. I decided an office job would be a better fit for me and my family. I prayed for the Lord to give me the job that was best for me, and then He led me to Thrive.

Before teaching, I worked in a hospital office. I already knew that I enjoyed office work and when I discovered Thrive Home Agency, I was compelled to apply. After learning more about Thrive, I knew this would be a place that I could use my skills and enjoy working. I am very thankful to be a part of a wonderful team that has a great purpose!
